Warmest Greetings to Deaf Asian Street Festival attendees:

We’re thrilled to kick off our very first-ever Deaf Asian cultural street festival this year, marking a historic and joyful moment. It was made possible thanks to the incredible dedication of our DASF Committees, volunteers, partners, and every single support who believe in our vision.

This festival is more than just a celebration – it’s a reflection of our community ‘s strength, culture, and unity.

We know many in our community are navigating real challenges – immigration uncertainty, financial struggles, lack of access to services. That’s why this festival brings together vendors, professionals, and resources that speak directly to your concerns and all of it is made accessible in ASL. You deserve to feel empowered, included, and supported in every space.

Our mission at MADA has always been clear: to uplift and serve the Deaf Asian community with pride, compassion, and resilience. We hope this day reminds you that you are not alone – you belong here.

Thank you for being part of this unforgettable milestone with us. Enjoy the festival, embrace the joy, and let’s continue building a future where our voices are seen and heard.

With deep gratitude,
Clement So
MADA Team Leader

Khanh Lao's Message DASF Chairperson

Hi everyone!

I can’t wait to welcome you this Saturday to our first Deaf Asian Street Festival!

Our team has been working hard for months to bring this event to life. We’ve gathered amazing deaf business owners, artists, performers, and community groups all in one place – right here in the NYC!

There will be fun performances, kids’ games, food, community resources, and so much more. We hope you will take the time to enjoy everything DASF has to offer.

Please also take a moment to thank our wonderful volunteers, staff, and sponsors. They helped make this day possible.

Get ready for a full day of fun, culture, and connection. We’ll see you there!

With excitement,
Khanh Lao
